Tiffany & Co., in partnership with the globally popular entertainment series Pokémon, is pleased to announce the Tiffany & Arsham Studio & Pokémon capsule collection, its latest collaboration with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham. Future Relics is Arsham's sculpture series that reconsiders everyday objects as archaeological discoveries of an imagined future. The inspiration for this collection, whose beauty is reflected in the design, was Arsham's exhibition in Japan, ``A Ripple in Time,'' which focused on sculptures and paintings of various Pokemon that evoke the passage of time. “For our latest project with Tiffany, we reinterpreted Pokémon in a new context, paying homage to the 2022 Tokyo Ripples project.Pokémon and Tiffany both have a sense of timeless culture. They let me,” Daniel Arsham said.
The Tiffany & Arsham Studio & Pokemon capsule collection centers around six beloved Pokemon species. Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle, Jigglypuff, Caracara, and Mew. Each piece features a sterling silver pendant accented with diamonds. Inspired by the collectible Pokémon, Tiffany designers created these Pokémon in sterling silver with an oxidized finish. Furthermore, 18K yellow gold is used for Pikachu. The iconic yellow color adds a playful touch, and the necklace is accented with diamonds. There are two sizes: small and large. The sterling silver item will be housed in a Tiffany & Arsham Studio & Pokemon blue box, and the gold Pikachu pendant will be housed in a Tiffany Blue Pokeball.
