Square Enix has announced new information about the tactical RPG ``Triangle Strategy'' for Nintendo Switch.
This work, which continues the tradition of ``Octopath Traveler,'' is impressive with beautiful pixel art called ``HD-2D.'' This time, details of characters centered on the Principality of Esfrost, profiles of companions that change depending on the player's choices, and a deep battle system have been released.
“Triangle Strategy” will be released on March 4, 2022. The price is 7,680 yen (tax included) for both the package version and the download version, and 16,500 yen (tax included) for "Triangle Strategy Collector's PACK", which is the e-STORE deluxe bonus version.

●Marriage between the Kingdom of Grinburg and the Duchy of Esfrost
The story of this work begins when Frederica, the first princess of the Principality of Esfrost, goes to marry Serenoa, the eldest son of the Walhort family in the Kingdom of Greenburg. This marriage was a political marriage with the purpose of strengthening the ties between the two countries and keeping St. Hysand's Great Church in check.

●Tactical points
You can earn tactical points by taking actions that meet certain conditions during battle. Tactical points are needed to exchange for important trump cards and valuable items in battle. There are various conditions for obtaining points, such as when a weak point is exploited or when a follow-up attack occurs, but more points will be awarded by taking strategic actions.
In addition to successful pursuits, you can earn additional tactical points if you successfully attack multiple opponents with area attacks. There are multiple acquisition conditions, such as attacks from high places and from behind. I want to try different strategies.
The points you collect can be exchanged for various items. Among them, trump cards are extremely useful in battle, so you'll want to actively get them once you have accumulated combat points.
●Trump card
In this game's battles, you can use trump cards on your unit's turn. Trumps can be used to perform actions that have various effects, such as recovery or status increases, without consuming turns. Trumps can be obtained by spending Tactical Points at the station, and Trumps Points are consumed when used. There is a limit to the number of trump points, and the same trump card cannot be used more than once, so it is important to use them strategically.
You can call up the trump card menu by pressing the "-" button during battle. You can also check the trump card points you have, so it is important to always be aware of this during battle.
For example, you can use the ``Trump of the Medical Tube'' to restore the health of an ally unit. You can also select allies who are far away, so you can use them wisely with recovery units.
●Station and training
At the station, you can talk to your friends and shop at the shop. You can also strengthen your characters and weapons at various shops and blacksmiths. In addition, hypothetical battles are prepared at the bar to test the strength of the characters you have developed, and you can enjoy the battles of this work even more, from regular battles to battles with special victory conditions.
